Recently, China Resources Building Materials Technology has achieved another success in the field of technological innovation. The project "Development and Engineering Application of Key Technologies and Equipment for Co-disposal of Solid Waste in Cement Kilns based on the Cyclone Furnace," led by the company, has passed the technical achievement appraisal conducted by the China Building Materials Federation. The project's results were recognized overall to have reached international advanced levels, with some technologies leading internationally.

The technical achievement appraisal was organized by the China Building Materials Federation, inviting several authoritative experts in the industry to form the appraisal committee. Following on-site inspections, project presentations, and expert evaluations, the appraisal committee highly praised the technical achievements of the project.

This project revolves around a solid waste disposal system with a "rotary incinerator" as its core, addressing the industry's challenge of significant impacts on the firing system and short refractory material usage cycles in the disposal of medium to low-calorific value solid waste. It effectively enhances the scale and utilization efficiency of co-disposing medium to low-calorific value solid waste in cement kilns. The system has been operational at the Hepu Cement Plant since October 2023, with a daily capacity to dispose of low-calorific value municipal waste exceeding 500 tons and a refractory material usage cycle of over 15 months, achieving significant economic and social benefits. In the future, the plan is to replicate the mature experience of the project and expand its implementation to other production bases within the company, contributing to the industry's green and low-carbon transformation.
