China Resources Building Materials Technology Holds 2025 Mid-Year Work Conference

On July 21st and 23rd, China Resources Building Materials Technology held its 2025 mid-year work conference in Shenzhen. Company leaders including Jing Shiqing, Xie Ji, Li Baojun, Zheng Qinghong, Lu Hong, Liu Wei, Chen Anguo, Chang Yang, Huang Hu, and Pan Fei, external directors Zhu Ping, Yu Shutian, Zhou Bo, representatives from the group's departments, as well as key personnel from the company's headquarters, regions, business units, and regional companies, totaling more than 140 people, attended the conference either in the main venue or via video conferencing.

The conference aimed to implement the requirements of the China Resources Group's 2025 half-year work conference, summarize the company's work in the first half of the year, review gaps and shortcomings, analyze internal and external environmental situations, and discuss the deployment of key tasks for the second half of the year to lay a solid foundation for planning the "14th Five-Year Plan."

During the conference, the finance department and the strategic management department respectively presented financial reports and operational management reports. Company leaders and relevant unit heads made deployments on key work in their respective functional areas, while heads of departments, regions, and business units reported on the progress of work in the first half of the year and their plans for the second half. External directors and representatives from group departments provided concentrated feedback.

The conference emphasized that since the beginning of the year and in the face of severe industry challenges, under the strong leadership of the group, China Resources Building Materials Technology has firmly grasped the annual management theme of "Deepening Reform, Embracing Innovation" and the seven key tasks, deepened the "Four Reshapes," rallied consensus, faced challenges head-on, and diligently advanced various tasks. The company successfully achieved the interim goal of "half of the time, half of the tasks," laying a solid foundation for completing the annual tasks.

CEO Xie Ji, based on the first-half operating conditions, deeply analyzed the current market situation, key gaps, and major issues in various business areas of the company, and arranged key work for the second half of the year: focusing on major strategies to achieve high performance goals; tackling key projects to enhance efficiency and resolve risks; fortifying major risk defenses to ensure stable operations; strengthening key functional and capacity building; deepening task listization, quantifying goals, assigning clear responsibilities, and clarifying milestones; addressing data gaps, leading goals, precise measures, and continuous improvement.

Chairman Jing Shiqing delivered a closing speech titled "Development is the Fundamental Principle," expressing gratitude to all cadres and employees for their efforts and contributions to the company's continuous development in the first half of the year. Chairman Jing Shiqing pointed out that the company should balance internal and external affairs, implement comprehensive strategies, stabilize the foundation, address weaknesses, optimize assets, manage risks, strengthen organization, and shape culture to comprehensively enhance its overall strength, aiming for immediate wins while planning for long-term success to achieve high-quality development. Chairman Jing Shiqing outlined the key work requirements for the second half of 2025: stabilizing performance to consolidate the positive trend of the foundation; managing risks for safe development; addressing weaknesses to tackle major challenges; optimizing asset quality to advance and retreat; enhancing capabilities through organizational capacity building; planning for the future through the scientific planning of the "14th Five-Year Plan"; and upholding Party building to lead development and reinforce political security.
