On April 28, the 2026 Celebration of International Workers' Day and National May Day Labor Awards Commendation Conference was grandly held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. China Resources Building Materials Technology Holdings Limited was awarded the National May Day Labor Citation (collective award), and Liang Chaoqi, Chief Engineer of the Mechanical and Electrical Department of the company's Guigang Industrial Park, received the National May Day Labor Medal (individual award). Jing Shiqing, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company, attended the conference and accepted the award on behalf of the award-winning unit.
The National May Day Labor Awards are national-level honors established by the All-China Federation of Trade Unions (ACFTU). They are designed to recognize advanced units, collectives and individuals who have made outstanding contributions to all undertakings of socialist construction, and are among the highest awards for the Chinese working class. In 2026, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions decided to confer the National May Day Labor Citation on 379 units, the National May Day Labor Medal on 1,462 individuals, and the National Worker Pioneer title on 1,183 collectives. Winning both the National May Day Labor Citation and the National May Day Labor Medal this time is not only a full recognition of the company's deep roots in the building materials sector, its efforts in deepening reform and tackling key challenges, and its innovative transformation and development, but also the highest commendation for all its employees who uphold craftsmanship, forge ahead with determination and strive for excellence through hard work. It further serves as an inspiration and motivation for China Resources Building Materials Technology to forge ahead on the new journey of the 15th Five-Year Plan period and write a new chapter of high-quality development.

Marked achievements have been made in leading the sector via smart manufacturing benchmarks. Its Tianyang Production Base has become the world’s first Lighthouse Factory in the global building materials industry and been shortlisted among the first batch of Excellent-level Smart Factories certified by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China. The Company has undertaken a national key "5G + Industrial Internet" project, with its proprietary 5G private network enabling innovative integrated application across full business workflows. The Lighthouse Network has expanded to over 100 production bases, with the digitalization coverage of core operational links hitting 98.86%.
Green and sustainable development has advanced in depth. The Company secured approval to set up the Research Center for Green Engineering Materials under the National Key Laboratory of Engineering Materials for Major Infrastructure Projects, delivered a 100,000-tonne pilot CCUS project in the cement sector, and successfully passed state acceptance on sub-topics of national key R&D programs targeting inorganic cementitious materials. To date, 18 of its scientific research achievements have won China Building Materials Science and Technology Awards. A total of 38 national and provincial-level Green Mines and 25 production bases listed as national/provincial Green Factories have been completed. Its annual sustainability report has been awarded the highest Five-Star Excellent Rating for three consecutive years.
Synergies from integrated development have risen substantially. Cement operations delivered robust performance on both production and sales ends, outperforming the industry average in profitability in 2025 to consolidate its core fundamentals. A dedicated aggregate expansion campaign focusing on boosting output and accelerating sales drove a 22% year-on-year surge in aggregate sales volume in 2025. The full implementation of an integrated development strategy for cement, aggregates and ready-mixed concrete fueled counter-cyclical growth in concrete business with a compound annual sales growth rate of 31% and rising market influence at the end-user segment. In Hong Kong, the Company actively scales up production capacity with successive new project launches to consolidate its local business footprint.
