On March 23, China Resources Building Materials Technology's subsidiary Redland Concrete held a signing ceremony for the "Tuen Mun Lam Tei Underground Quarry Batching Plant Project" with Wai Du Investment, a subsidiary of Hong Kong's Wai Kee Group, in Hong Kong. China Resources Building Materials Technology's Board Chairman Jing Shiqing, Vice President Pan Fei, and Wai Kee Group Chairman Sing Wai Piu attended the related events.
According to the cooperation agreement, Redland Concrete will lease the concrete batching plant site (with three concrete production lines) invested and constructed by Wai Kee Group at the Lam Tei Quarry in Tuen Mun, Hong Kong, expanding its number of operated concrete batching plants from four to five, while securing the cement supply rights for this site, thereby strengthening China Resources Building Materials Technology's core competitiveness and brand influence in Hong Kong's building materials market. This project is the largest single concrete batching plant in Hong Kong and is scheduled to begin trial production at the end of July. Upon completion, it will help Redland Concrete increase its annual production capacity by 750,000 cubic meters and effectively drive sales growth of Runfeng Cement in Hong Kong.
This cooperation represents an important initiative for China Resources Building Materials Technology to serve Hong Kong's long-term development and deeply integrate into the broader national development strategy. The project will become a key building materials supply base supporting the urban construction of Hong Kong's Northern Metropolis, providing solid guarantees for major regional infrastructure projects. Going forward, China Resources Building Materials Technology will continue to deepen its presence in the Hong Kong market, actively participate in the development of the Northern Metropolis and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, strengthen the foundation of urban development with high-quality building materials products and professional services, and contribute its wisdom and strength to Hong Kong's long-term prosperity, stability, and deeper integration into the national development strategy.
