China Resources Building Materials Technology Holds Seminar on Studying the Spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee and 2025 Entrepreneurship Day Theme Event

On December 22, China Resources Building Materials Technology held a Lecture on Studying and Implementing the Spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the 2025 “Entrepreneurship Day” Themed Event in Zhanjiang. A total of 446 participants, including company leaders Jing Shiqing, Li Baojun, Lu Hong, Liu Wei, Chen Anguo, Chang Yang, Huang Hu, Pan Fei; external directors Yu Shutian, Deng Ronghui; all directly managed cadres and key professional personnel, attended the event at the main venue and via video link at branch venues respectively.

In the morning, participants at the main venue visited Baosteel Zhanjiang Iron and Steel Plant to learn about its successful practices of high-level lean operation driven by “high-end, intelligent, green and efficient development” amid homogeneous industry competition, achieving greener, more efficient, higher-quality and more sustainable development.

In the afternoon, an exchange and sharing session on entrepreneurship and innovation was held at Lianjiang Cement Plant, followed by a lecture on studying and implementing the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. Seven role model representatives shared practical experience, insights and reflections on entrepreneurship and innovation. Representatives from five entities, including the Southeast Region, Functional Building Materials Business Unit, Structural Building Materials Business Unit, Lianjiang Industrial Park and Guigang Industrial Park, shared their successful experience and achievements in facing difficulties, overcoming challenges and breaking through bottlenecks in recent years, demonstrating the company’s entrepreneurship and innovation practices in implementing the new development philosophy and promoting the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries. New employee representatives also shared their experiences of quickly integrating into the company, personal growth insights and understanding of the entrepreneurial and innovative spirit.

During the sharing session by the company’s directors and management team, External Director Deng Ronghui, Vice President Liu Wei and Chief Financial Officer Huang Hu fully affirmed the solid achievements made by all entities through the spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation. Focusing on the new development stage of the 15th Five-Year Plan period, they encouraged all cadres and employees to build on past successes and continue to strive hard.

Jing Shiqing, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company, delivered a lecture on the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and made concluding remarks. Jing Shiqing emphasized that all cadres and employees must adhere to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, recognize the historical position and deeply understand the overall significance of the 15th Five-Year Plan period; grasp the core essence and systematically comprehend the top-level design and strategic planning of the proposals for the 15th Five-Year Plan; focus on key arrangements and accurately grasp the new directions and new requirements for the company’s development guided by the proposals for the 15th Five-Year Plan. He stressed the importance of effectively studying, publicizing, implementing and applying the spirit of the plenary session to lay a solid foundation for a good start of the 15th Five-Year Plan development.
