On December 14th, President Zhu Xiaohua of Southwest University of Science and Technology visited the China Resources Building Materials Technology headquarters in Shenzhen. The two parties engaged in in-depth discussions on establishing a collaborative innovation platform for industry, academia, and research, reaching a high level of consensus. Chairman Jing Shiqing and President Zhu Xiaohua signed a strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of both parties.
The agreement stipulates that the two sides will focus on key areas such as green and low-carbon building materials, intelligent manufacturing, and the utilization of solid waste resources to promote industrial transformation and upgrading and establish a long-term and stable strategic partnership in industry, academia, and research. Specific initiatives include building a system of "collaborative education between academia and industry, fostering practical talent," implementing a dual-mentor system for joint training of various professionals, carrying out "solving challenges" based on the industry's "demand list," and jointly promoting the trial and industrial application of cutting-edge technological achievements in new materials and processes on the China Resources Building Materials Technology platform.
The signing of this strategic cooperation agreement is a key step for both parties to promote deep integration of industry, academia, and research. In the future, the two sides will further expand the depth and breadth of cooperation in joint scientific research, talent development, platform construction, and other aspects to promote the transformation and upgrading of the building materials industry and high-quality development, contributing more to national strategic initiatives.
During the visit, President Zhu Xiaohua and his delegation also visited the China Resources Building Materials Technology headquarters exhibition hall, where they gained a detailed understanding of the company's development history, industry layout, and innovative achievements.
